im not sure if this should be in here or student but-
im currently in my first year at univeristy, however i've realised the course im doing isn't for me so im in the process of applying to start somewhere new in september to do a degree in music industry management&live production as this is what i really want to do.
however, i was just wondering, is this the best way to go about getting a job in the music industry?
im guessing it will be good to have a degree, but is there any way of getting a job within the industry without a degree and working my way up? and if so, how would i go about that- just write to a lot of companies?
i've done a lot of research but all i really seem to have found are aritcles saying how hard it is and how getting experience will help a lot which i'm already aware of.
does anyone know anything about this? or any websites which may be useful? i'd really appreciate and help/tips.
