    Hmm.

Trivium reminds me of early "In Flames" stuff. It's ok, but you need to be into that kind of 'mental-double-kick-and-guitar-harmonies' thing.

You cen get their album at this site for $1.08, incidentally (if you can't find it to download illegally). :)

Couldn't find any of the other guys' work...

Which I do, so very, very much. They have some very powerful choruses which are just brilliant. And really good solos aswell.

I wasn't implying it was a bad thing at all :)

What sort of style is A Dozen Furies?

They remind me of 36 Crazyfists. They won an MTV contest called Battle For Ozzfest, which is how I heard about them. Theres a few samples of their tracks on their website.

Weirdly enough, I was gonna post something about "A Dozen Furies....are they less furious than 36 Crazyfists" or something equally unintelligent.

Maybe I'll go with my hunches in future. :D

I'll check 'em out, as I like 36 Crazyfists, although the vocalist's style annoys me sometimes...

They're pretty good - kinda a cross between Trivium and 36CF.

It's the harmonised guitars that puts me off, unfortunately. It's ok in moderation, but it's not 100% my thing.

Do you like Chimaira? Their albums 'Pass Out Of Existance' and 'The Impossibility Of Reason' are ace.

Yeah he can go a bit whiny and Daryl Palumbo like a bit too often. Another fucking top band is Unearth, check them out too. Get a song called Zombie Autopilot, then work your way on from there. Excellent band.
