What is this?

And how can I get rid of it? See the little box to the lef of MSN with the green stick figure? I have no idea what it is or what it's called, can't right click and delete it and it doesn't show up in task manager....help?

    When you say it doesn't appear in Task Manager, do you mean in the 'Applications' tab or in the 'Processes' tab? Check both to see if there's anything unusual in there?

    Otherwise yes: I'd restart and see if it goes away.

    Have you got spyware/malware/antivirus software? Might be worth running a quick scan.

    if still no luck:

    ctrl - alt - delete

    processes tab (at the top)

    print screen

    show us ;)

    I tried a restart and thankfully it seems to have worked...
