At my pre-op appointment before my laparoscopy I'm having a chest x-ray. Was just wondering if anyone would know why?
Seems a bit random to me. Think it's possibly to do with anaesthetics but it doesn't say anything about it in the 'Anaesthesia and You' leaflet I was given by the nurse.
Was also wondering... can you be sedated as well as given a general anesthetic? The only thing I'm bothered about with my op is the actual being put to sleep bit - I hated it last time, was really unplesant and keep getting nervous about it so I dread to think what I'll be like on the day. Can they relax you for it so you're not really bothered???
