Hi all, newbie-ish person here. I'm 30 and a producer for a radio station in South Wales, occasionally doing a bit of presenting too (usually when the regular jocks don't turn up).

I get bored easily so I tend to ramble. so on a site(.org) like this I'll indulge quite often.

I can be a stick-in-the-mud, stubborn, slightly mad and impulsive but I give a great aromatherapy massage ;)

    A chad? The only time I can recall someone mentioning chads was during the 2000 US Presidential elections, when there were the "hanging chads", thanks to dumb people in Florida who couldn't punch holes in pieces of paper. :confused:

    It was last week - we were talking about the royal wedding and this woman phoned in and said that the things that were going wrong with Charles' marriage to Camilla were being caused by "the ghost of Diana". She was serious.

    We had to play 3 extra songs off the playlist because we were laughing too much to go back on air...

    You'd be surprised. I can switch on my radio at anytime of the day and listen to radio stations in Ireland with near-perfect stereo sound quality. But in any case, don't you broadcast over the Internet as well? Most stations seem to these days...

    Let's just say our radio station is not at the forefront of cutting edge technology....we'll have webcasting soon....in the same way that Christmas is "coming soon"...

    there's a place where I live called Chaddesden and it's as rough as a badger's armpit and they are all way down the bottom of th pond life scale of chavs!! We call them Chad or a Chad for short :)
