Quick Q about living at home

If you live at home with your parents, and you are a student, do you have to pay council tax? Is there something you need to fill out which makes you exempt from it?

I've been living in halls this year and I didn't have to fill anything out, will this be the case if I'm living at home?

    Well i'm a student living at home and i've never been asked to pay council tax, my parents pay it.
