Topless women in New Zealand

so I'm watching TV the other night and this story comes on about Charles going down to New Zealand. As he was going around shaking hands these women with no shirts on began waving their jugs around and screaming at the top of their lungs. The story didn't say what they were protesting. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the deal was with that.

oh and to make it a debate; is this really an effective form of protest?

    There have been two recent such events. One of them was a meeting between Charles and some native women (probably from NZ but could be Oz, can't remember), which were indeed topless when they spoke to him. Everyone was aware this would be the case as this is their custom.

    The second incident was in Australia I believe, where one or several women got topless and protested against the Royal Family and called for the abolition of the monarchy in Australia. They got arrested by cops.

    The problem with this form of protest is although it does get you attention, nobody is listening to what you're saying :chin:

    Just found out something about them protesting because he was offended at natives dancing topless, so they did it just to piss him off. Everyone's entitled to be offended by whatever :/
