    Yup, and charged with rape/indecent assault, and if convicted you would be put onto the sex offenders register.

    The charges might have changed recently.

    erm, i'm not too sure, i think that if the guy is over 14, he will be arrested or cautioned or something. even if the guy is 14 and the girl 15, i stil think the guy gets the most punishment. which is a bit out of order in my opinion, say if a guy is 14 and has a girlfriend who is 15, but is very pushy. think about it.

    to be entirley honest, i'm not sure exactly what goes on with that law, its very confusing, i'm just glad we never got caught when i was underage. thinking back, maybe i do, could have got the prick behind bars or something <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

    I don't think they bother with a little thing like that while there are murderers on the streets. Unless there's a complaint made by someone about it then they're not really bothered. Like jaywalking that's "illegal" but u are never stopped for it.

    Its doubtful that the police would get involved if both partneers were under age. If the guy was underage and the girl was over 16 (very rare though) then again no problems.

    The problems only begin when the guy is over 16 and thw girl isn't. As mentioned though there are much more pressing matters like murder and so this isn't going to be taken to seriously - besides whose gona say!

    Only problem comes if the girl either:
    (A)gets pregnant or
    (B)makes a complaint due to falling out or the feeling it was forced on her

    then the guy could be up shit creek...

    its all well and good having laws but they never seem to be enforced, even when the police are aware, for example the 11 year old girl who recently got pregnant, there was no mention of her boyfriend being arrested.

    Right I did a little bit of research and I found out the laws. If a guy is 10 and the girl is 15 or younger he can get put on the sex offenders list if convicted (even if she suggets it and consents) And if they are both the same age (but still underage) then the male will take most of the blame and can get put on the sex offenders list. He will almost certainly get put on the list if she is under 16 and he is over 16. However if she is 16 and he is 15, she wont get done (even if she forces it). How harsh is that?

    it's no defence for the boy to say in court that the girl wanted to have it

    So basically you're not allowed to tell the truth? Maybe the law should move with the times - girls are a lot more adventurous these days, it's not always the guy who's at fault. Oops, sorry, I forgot... everything is the guys fault <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"&gt;

    interesting. i didn't know a lot of that.

    did u hear about the boy who got put in jail for rape and he said she consented but changed her mind 1/2 way thru and he got done? i suppose thats only 1 side of the story tho....
