i am looking for peoples views on the new licencing laws that allow the public more weight in the granting of licenses?

I disagree with 24 hour drinking. I do agree with staggered closing hours, removal of promotions from bars with a history of violence and police powers to shut bars if they are the cause of violent disorder.
