stomach pulse

is it normal to have a pulse in your stomach. i have just noticed that i do. but i also had my belly button piered today, so could this be the cause of it if its not normal!
i am being serious, and ths is not a wind up, so please reply.

    It is normal to be able to feel your heartbeat almost anywhere on your torso, you wont always notice it, but if you think how close it is to your actual heart.
    Sometimes if I lie down, my belly moves with my heartbeat.
