A friend of mine came to me with a problem and i'm really not sure what to say, any ideas anyone??
"I am in doubt as to whether I am heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual/bicurious (not that we need labels anyway) and am further confused given the fact I find the thought of anal sex not for me so how can I be gay? Please help me! to be gay I must like anal sex, 'cos it leaves me nothing else to do!"

    well wind, you have a great variety of friends don't you, do you choose them so that they each offer the greatest of evidence for your information? As a non-gender specified person myself, I feel in a position to comment that anal sex is open to everyone, fat or thin, gay or straight, non specific sexualities, oh and both pre, and post operation transexuals! You may lik eto tell your friend that gay relationships can be made more varied with the ableness of perform anal sex but its not entirely essential, many(well I know one) gay relatonships are based solely on "rimming, wanking and sucking" to be crude! He may be consoled with the factor of giving and/or taking with anal sex, one cannot always bring oneself to give , or to take, perhaps and some relationships work very well when some agreement or preference is stated between the two (or more) people concerned! As I have said else where i am an expert in the field of teenage masturbation and it has been shown that ability to use a finger in your anus to stimulate oneself during masturbation can heighten the sensation, think about trying thsi and then go from there perhaps... just all ideas and can be taken or left as you wish! AS for the deciding on your sexuality, why bother at all in my opinion, "wind's " friend sounds like they have a good philosophy by staying on the fence until they are ready to fall down one of either sides of that metaphorical fence!     A gay friend recently told me that about half of gay relationships do not involve anal sex. Hope that helps!

    Once again amy I apoplogise to all offended people, wind has recieved a personal reply to state my apology and we understand one another now! Red Ed is quite correct, I have been told today that the figure is less than half-foreplay when investigated properly can reveal many paths to take! AS for the decision on sexuality, I do not envy this friend of yours Wind? He msu be having a real tough time of it??

    Well, I know two gay lads and a lesbian, and am good friends with both so I get to hear things! Mark and his boyf have been together for three years and neither of them like the thought of anal sex and so they haven't tried it! Their choice. Not that I really see why gay anal sex bothers people that much, so long as they're both consenting it's pretty much their own business what they get up to in the bedroom, same as it is for a straight couple. As for your friend, Wind, if they're not sure then the answers simple: stay single! It will become clear which sex she is most attracted to, or both.

    I have sinced introduced my mate to the site and he is hooked!
    Relationships don't survive just on sex, and if you are attracted to someone and trust them, then maybe in time your views will change. Sex is a very personal thing and if you are uncomfortable with something then don't do it! There are plenty of other ways to amuse yourselves!!
