As I am a newbie, I thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

I'm Claire, I'm 19, I live near Manchester. Hi! :wave:

Do I have to post a picture? Or can I stay hidden...lol!

    Well, I'm hardly going to post a pic now! Because everyone will think I think I'm fit and therefore think I'm big headed!

    hello there :wave: you are most welcome to stay hidden if you wish, anonymity is one of the great things about this place ;)

    but if you get bored, I believe there's a huge "post a picture of yourself" thread around here somewhere.

    everyone is usually nice, but it seems to be a bit of an off day today :p

    you could check this out, it gives a much better indication as to how to behave if you want people to like you, than what's going on in the rest of the site today ;)

    (hmm, maybe that link should be stickied in the "introduce yourself" bit, I mean, who reads the announcements forum? :p )
