Hi

I'm moving out of my parents place and into my own flat :) just going through the whole mortgage malarky and hassle at the moment. I'm making a list of things I need to take with me but know I'll have missed something off!

Has anyone moved out and forgotten something important, if so what was it. Then I can see if Ive missed it off my list

    fill any cracks etc ...two coats of paint ...you get bored with one wall it takes an hour to paint it a different colour.
    wallpaper has been banned in my house ...it's a pain in the arse putting it up and an even bigger pain taking it down.
    if done right ...painted walls loof very clean and spacious ...almost anything can go with it.
    and very easy to clean.

    Hmmm yeah think I'll plump fpr paint. What do you do if the wall you want to paint already has paper on it?
