My free copy of time came today and guess who was on the cover as Person of the year!! There's like 10 pages devoted to Bush.

    Time is little more than a wankfest for the corporate elite and those who subscribe to the cult of personality. Hardly an endorsement either of the strength of character or benefit to mankind of those who have been granted the distinction.

    No, its the happy corporate media/"corporate handout" Bush administration wankfest in print. There is no true investigative journalism in the mainstream any longer.

    Hell, even that BBC article reads like an apologetic for this administration than any truly critical media scrutiny.

    Yes Kermy, a yank whom has lived in Europe for 14 years and runs with a predominantly British crowd. The terminology tends to rub off on one along with proper spelling. ;)

    i can manage the spelling, but as long as they say it in not the british way, but the correct way, which is the way we say it, then its ok

    Yes George W is screwing up the US economy and invading countries that give them economic gain. The sooner George W is out of office the better.

    ah well there's the rub. I will defer on the use of "u" and even adopt numerous colloquialisms which I find amusing, but being the yank I am nonetheless, I will go to my grave insisting upon the correct pronunciation of that metal, Aluminum!
