rather stupid really

it used to be mainly amongst gay men, but the increase i nthat has stopped and is probably falling by now, and in straight people its increasing loads, so obviously conclusion, itll tend to be 50% for female 50% for men

    it should read
    "Nearly half of adults with HIV are women"

    cause your title sugests out of all women that there are in this day and age, half have hiv

    EDIT: this should be in sex and also the politics board

    Well it's women in Africa...and some of that is because of the ignorant leadership in Africa. Even Mandella was saying for a long time that there's no such thing as AIDS...it's just a plot by the CIA to discredit the South African government. Many African men still believe having sex with a virgin cures AIDS...hence the rapes of school girls by adult men.
