If you are a 1mbit NTL broadband customer and your internet goes via your Digital set top box (not a stand alone cable modem) then as of last night, your connection speed has been increased to 1.5mbit.

Its great, downloading at 175 kb/s is fantastic ;D

    1mbit i used to get 115-122kb/s


    so far (on 1.5mbit) i normally get about 175kb/s but its gone as high as 182 kb/s

    cable modem people were upgrades AGES ago.

    talk to the people in #cableforum on quakenet then, there are a LOT of people in there who actually work for NTL.
