guys, I'm so tired, and have such a hardcore nasty day. I've got a proper full day, 9am tutorial and a 5pm lecture, with an hour for lunch in the middle there somewhere.

Starting at 9 and finishing at 6 is nasty unfair. I need hugs people! Help me!

Bloody students! Wait till you get out in to the real world.

Up at 7am. Shaved. Showered. Dressed. Breakfast. Out the door at 7:30am.

At work for 8am. Work till 6pm. Lucky to have a half hour lunch break.

Home for 6:30pm. Dinner. Spend some time with the kids. Take the dog for a walk. Clean up.

Finally sit down at about 8pm just in time to crash out on the sofa.

I told you that your course would involve work, I mean, what on earth did you go to uni for?

    *hugs* though.

I don't mean to sound mean, but that's little.
If the teachers weren't on a strike today, this is what my schedule would be like (same as every other tuesday)
6am: Wake up for breakfast etc.
7am: Catch a bus, a train and another bus to go to uni.
8am to 4pm: 4 lectures, with only a 15-minute break between every two hours.
    5-7pm: "Lab" work
    about 8pm: Back at home

    How does 9 to 6 beat 6 to 8?

When I say starting at 9, that's my first lecture. not when I had to get up for it...

You don't live in halls do you? Because if you're competing with me on the amount of sleep had, you'll lose. I'm honestly not terribly interested. I woke up this morning feeling shit, my timetable is really harsh on it's own, not to mention the amount of work I have to do outside of lectures and with other commitments such as training.

Sorry, I guess I got carried away.
Thing is, there are people with worse time schedules than you (even if I'm not one). I hope you get used to it soon. Isn't there anything you can do to adjust better/sooner?
