some of the threads in this place ...other forums etc ...should be printed off by someone before they digitaly have no trace.
some very serious stuff in polotics and debacle and some of the funny stuff in here ...some of the drugs advice etc ...would make for interesting reading in years to come.
nostalgia etc ...could make such a book collectable.
how many other sites will be recorded in the written word for posterity?
remember all this digital stuff will not survive.
a printed copy of this place could be worth a fortune when you lot are as old as me ...when the last tree is about to fall over.

I know, imagine all the stuff that is said in some of these threads, like the drugs and anything goes board, some amount of shite talked too...all those late nights at 4 or 5am talking shit...looking for advice.
So many things on here it would be alot of pages.

historians of the future will be needing a printed version of today as the digital stuff gets wiped.
just a thought but ...if someone started doing it now ...they could be providing themselves with their pension.

who's going to buy victorian stuff ...who's going to buy 60's memorabilia?
there is important stuff from the late seventies that can't be acsessed cos it is on media that todays pc's cant acsess.
who would have thought the toy cars of my day that cost pennies would now be fetching serious quids ...who would ever have thought that anything made of plastic could ever become collectable and even valuable/
historians of the future will be desperate for printed versions of todays thoughts and activities ...just like 60's 70's and even 80's stuff is now highly collectable and in some cases valuable?

There's already a company out there that does a copy of the Internet - ie every accessible page possible (that aren't protected by passwords, etc), every month, and stores it in a digital archive. They're the same people that provide the Alexa software and spyware.
Alexa actually have a pretty cool tool that highlights and hyperlinks keywords on pages in your browser to useful sites (not the usual shops and porn). However, it's also laden with spywear, so I wouldn't touch it again.

Who owns the "rights" of these posts though.

    Me? Cause I typed it.

thesite.org cause it's on their website?

No-one cause it's in the public domain?
