missus has arrived home with a fruit and veg juicer ...just bunged a couple of carrots in and hey presto carrot juice!
anyone have any good recepies?

    That'll be used about 5times then it will get packed away never to be seen again untill the carboot sale ;).

    thats what happens to breville toasty things and exercise bikes!
    i think i'll end up using this more thant missus.
    for drinks ...gravies and suaces ...soups etc.
    but fruit and veg drinks more than anything.
    stop being cynical and give me some bleedin' recipies!

    try strawberries, ice-cream, cream and sugar (but caster sugar) and banana's and grapes and melon and mango's that sounds like it might taste nice.... fuck it, try it anyway...

    buy a book called 'miracle juices', lots of really nice recipes in there to help with all sorts of medical conditions.

    OH year we had one the best is pears, it just works so well.

    No actually - most juicers are centrifugal. All it means is the stuff is grated and a wire mesh separates the pulp from the juice. A masticating pushes the pulp through a mesh with immense force, as opposed to simply grating it, and you get more juice and hence more nutrients.

    i think it's actualy both ...hence the name duo.
    i'll probably be living on fruit and vegtable juice till the novelty wears off ...or i get sick of being able to shit through the eye of a needle.

    You'll probably find there's a citrus juicer attachment as well as the main juicer, and that's why it's called duo. That's my thought on it anyway.

    MIL has one. The juice really is very nice, and it's even more excellent if you can get cheap fruit like I can from the Kosovan shops round here. :thumb: Might have to get one meself.
