Accident at work.

Today at work I had a full pallet of tins, cartons etc fall on my foot after a colleague attempted a swift get away with my pump truck.

At first I thought my big toe was broken as it had really swollen up in a few minutes and had a deep black hint to it and cained if I moved it, but it got better with time and I can now move it without too much pain so I'm guessing it's just bruised.

My question is, if it's just bruising will have faded by Saturday and be barely noticable? Don't want the night ruined by not being able to put pressure on my foot. :crazyeyes

    Time will tell, I suppose.

I'd give an ice pack a go, probably for about 15 minutes at a time, a couple of times a day.

Might not work, but it's worth a punt?

Of course they will have filled in the legal accident book and if your off work for three days because of it they will be filling in a RIDDOR report.

    Make sure they do.
