Hi, I'm not quite sure if this is a medical problem or just normal but here goes
Recently i seem to have quite a few mood changes.... one minute through the day i'm happy as anything but later on i am really down.
I wouldnt mind if the moods were consistent but they just change all the time.
Btw i'm a male so PMT can kinda be ruled out
Is this normal?

Do you do drugs?
Are you on medication?
These can affect the way you feel. Iv recently had the same problem as you and got prescribed with anti-depressants.
Do you know what might be causing the mood changes at all?
The moods just seem to come and go but i'm happy when i'm socialising with people and when i'm busy but then when i'm alone i just get down all of a sudden but i've never had this problem before.....
But mostly the moods come and go as they please...
If it does worry you a lot then I'd suggest you see your doctor, and of course if there's an underlying reason behind these feelings then it would be a good idea to try and broach the subject. If it's what I first mentioned then I honestly think you can just ride it out, I know I have days where I'm happy as anything one minute and then suddenly feel overwhelmed by low feelings, anger, irritation at the people around me...I just do what I need to do at those times...be that spending a little while alone, going out for a walk, speaking to someone who I can really talk to about my feelings, or just escaping into a book/film/tv programme/the internet. Everyone has moods, you just need to know how to handle your own bad moods (for your own, and everyone else's sake) and know when your mood swings become erratic. Only you know yourself and whether it's just hormonal business as usual, or something a bit more serious, but I can assure you that you're not some crazy, moody psycho just because you have peaks and troughs (Unless I am too )
Blokes get PMT, they have a cycle of hormones like girls do. If I remember rightly men have puberty slightly later so these mood swings may take a little longer to start to show.;
Oh and Fiend_85 i didnt know guys got PMT.... now when i get moody and someone asks why i'll just turn round and say its PMT.
I wouldnt say the moods are serious and worth seeing a doctor.... more frustrating than anything else... as you cannot get a clear perspective on things.... life is good one minute... terrible the next but i'll keep on smiling
Thanks
They'll have a proper laugh over that won't they. it's not quite the same though, it's a three month cycle!
