Girlfriend just got a charm bracelet...so far without the charms. Anyone recommend any good jewellers to get nice ones from? I live round the Watford area if that helps!?

Cheers!

Aww that's such a lovely idea!

My Mum has a silver charm bracelet. I'll try ask later where she got the charms for it from.

    Tried somewhere like H. Samuels?

ive got a gold one myself and although its easier to find gold charms, the silver ones tend to be more imaginative than the gold ones, id try and steer clear of chain jewellers because tbh its all tat they sell in all there shops, try and go for small ones which have better pieces and will also fix them on for you

any good jewellers that sells pendants will have them. just look for pendants and buy them without the chain. that is what i have done with mine/what people do for me :)

My nan put a bag full of silver charms in front of me and my sister - we got to choose half each... and a chain each.
Gold charms seem too cheap and nasty for me, I'm a silver girl - I LOVE silver.

I got loads of lovely charms, which included a spider in a web, and the Smash Robot!!

Just go to old jewellery shops, antique shops n such. I think older charms have much more character than shiny new ones... but that's just my opinion!

I've asked for a silver charmed bracelet for my 18th but I don't think my mum is sure where to get one from.

Im all for silver too, but I disagree with that. Yellow gold looks cheap and nasty, but paler gold and white gold is okay.

white gold doesn't count as gold in that statement. i think all yellow gold looks cheap. white gold is as nice as silver.

my gold charm bracelet is the only gold item i own (except my parents wedding and engagement rings, which i dont wear) its nice i only wear it on special occasions and im always adding to it when i see a nice piece. id like to start a silver one too one day, maybe pass it on if i had a daughter or whatever.
