Help with this tune please

One of the guys at work has this midi on his phone and it's bugging him (And now us :mad: ) as to where the song is from.

Movie? TV? Song? We just don't know. Anyone out there recognise it. :)

    Had a few suggestions but don't want to say anything incase it influences people. Pretty sure it's from the 80's ourselves. Possibily early 90's. Really annoying us though. :mad:

    ok, asked my mum and she said it just sounds like the theme tune from fame - dunno if thats any help :confused:

    I can honestly say I've never heard it! It isn't the theme from Fame though, unless it is exceptionally badly done.

    the verse bits, if you will, are quite similar to the its raining men verses and the ending also but the chorus bits dont

    God.. i know this and it'll bug me alday, what is the midi file on his phone called, did it come with the phone, if so it came with the phone chances are it's one they composed for the phone it could be similer than something like fame (just an example not saying it is) or another 80's song and you can't reconize it because bits of it are change, just a though anyway.

    That definitely isn't the Fame theme tune. The amount of times Bertha's played that bloody song to me, I know that much.

    I recognise it...it's right on the tip of my tongue, but I can't get it. Damn it.
