PS I think it's our opposable thumbs that are the most useful digits to retain.
Its still difficult though. I can only use my left hand atm
so no five friended fun for you tonight , sorry it was harsh, hope it goes ok mate.
Way to kick a man when he's down, moron.
oh and your don't do that do you:rolleyes:
you'll be fine, honest. just ignore the stupid comments stupid people will sometimes have.
No, I don't.
Plank.
got no advice sorry. but *huge hugs* anyway
Anyways... You'll be fine. Just feel a bit weird for the next we while.
*Loadz of Hugz*
Reminds me of my teacher I knew when I was in Primary. Had to get his big tow cut off coz it was rotting... coz somehow his blood stop circulating round it for some reason. He had to use a walking stick for a while to help him with his balance for the next few months - just shows
we used to call him 'admiral ninefingers'.
harsh, and only slightly related, but i thought i'd share.
don't worry overly, loads of people are missing bits of fingers. at least you'll have a cool story with which to impress girls.
He was holding the frame of the forklift while he was reversing it and miss judged the distance between the forklift and the lorry we had parked there. Needless to say there was not enough room and as strong as bones are they do not compare to a lorry and a forklift. There was lots of blood, screaming and shouting at the time... but he is fine now. the hospital are talking about rebuilding his thumb with his big toe or parts of his hip.
Not much help to you Danny, but i thought i would share the story. How did you do it anyway?
up to 3 weeks of being an invalid
yeah I know how ya feel, but at least you can still go out mate:)
but after that it will be all usefull again, glad it turned out to be not to bad and didn't lose any of it and stuff. anyways yay and stuff for you and... yea... i hope you get what i'm trying to type here
walking home from a night out at about 2am with a mate
we saw a big drain grate in the road
thought it would cause a car accident so moved it
when putting it down accidently caufgt finger under it
almost sliced off the fleshy bit
that will leaern me for thinking of others
With the bandages on it and everything, it looks a hell of a lot worse than im sure it actually is...
there was a girl at my primary school who was born with a finger missing.
look up 2 posts
oh yeh, haha. kinda missed that one.
Just be glad it wasn't a toe... apparently it takes months to regain your balance after loosing just one toe
