I don't agree with top-up fees but there is a need for money in the universities.

What worries me is that if this is defeated or modified to unrecognisability there will be no swift recourse to a more suitable alternative just a stalemate and lack of action.......

Once again the Lords proves to be the centre of common sense.

There is talk of increasing fees to overseas students to make up the shortfall ;)

    Fuck you :p

With the current fees, I have everything planned.
Thanks to my government paying me to study (but not my studies) the fees I will get will actually cover the payment fee for the university, and I will still have around 2/3 left per month...

Sounds like a good policy from your government, you'll need the remainder if you go to the LSE and more!

I'll need much more than that. London is insane.
The remainder won't cover rent by Thames :p
Or anywhere else I am afraid.

This is good news for students-short term.
With the House of Lords blocking the top-up fees now means it automatically passes in 12 months time, all the House of Lords can do is block not prevent the top-up fees from happening so Long term, uni students are gonna be paying them either now or 12 months time!

Why goto uni in London? It's waaaaay too expensive, you should look at somewhere farther north.

Uno, LSE has a great reputation.

That is if I get accepted.
