My brothers toe...!

My brothers big toe, has a nail which regardless of whether its been well looked after, the nail ALWAYS dies and falls off. Any suggestions on how to help it 'live'...it's slightly begginning to annoy him as you can imagine cause it's all vulnerable and tender!

    My advice would be to seek the opinion of a podiatrist!
