What age has a baby got to be over to be able to fly??? Someone said 6 months. You have to make sure the baby can sit on your knee cos baby/car seats arent allowed on the plane???
Is this right? Can anyone shed any light on this please?

I flew at 3 months. Have friends who flew at 3 weeks.
If you have a baby usually they let you sit at the front by the wall, where they have thise baby bed thingy installled :)

I flew as a baby but I'm not sure how old I was.

I've seen babies on flights but usually they are on an adults lap with an additional baby seatbelt attached.

I flew when I was a couple of months old, my sister when she was a couple of weeks old.

Not sure about the laws regarding car seats or sitting on your lap though.

my nephew flew to LA when he was about 3 months. he had some kind of on-knee cot type contraption. if you don't have the baby on your knee, you have to pay for the extra seat.
