Just started a nail art course at college, and i was just wondering how many of you girlys or laddies have nail art done, or do it yourselfs?

I always have mine arted... because it stops me from biting them off....

Ive just put a pic on of my 1st goes on nail art... feel free to let me know what you think..

    i like the look of nail art and i like watching people have it done. some can be really impressive. but i like my nails au naturel, because i think nail art looks tacky and quite scary on.

    I hate it! It looks horrible and pikey! Nails look so much better just painted a nice colour all over!

    I think only really subtle nail art looks nice. I.E, a french manicure or somthing with a little gem on.

    Less is more.

    i agree... mine are half this size!! but its what we have to use to practic on at the moment...

    some nail's are scary...but some can look really nice ...

    ive just drawn one with a blue sky plam tree and tresure chest....so i'll take a pic later...

    Could you paint all your nails the same colour to begin with and then just do nail art on say the thumbs? Like all pale blue but with the thumbs done with the blue sky palm tree art. Or would that just look odd?

    I agree. I find colourful nails quite scarey and weird looking.

    my friend does hers herself with gelpens then goes over it with clear nail varnish and they look awesome. her natural nails by the way. she did mine with black and white squares which was pretty cool.

    i really dislike all the reqular 'ive got two inch fake nails look how pretty they are' stuff though. just makes me think 'trailer trash'

    but then that's just my opinion

    It does look good!! it looks good on your middle finger too...

    gotta agree that i cant deal with 2 inch long nails, they dont look right....

    I might try that then. I don't think I'd have 10 nail art nails, but one on each hand would be less full on.
