Chaps with long hair

ahoy all, Tom here,
Jest wondering if anybody had tips for a lad trying to grow hair to a pretty good length. Its a bit past my shoulders now and just looks bushy & frizzy & crap. May sound weird but want to go for waist length before gettin it lopped:) .cheers.

    really though, i'm not sure. go to your hairdressers and ask for a good cut and ask their advice on how best to grow it.

    ditto. absoutly no guy looks even decent with long hair. they just look greasy and dirty. yes, even rockstars. :/ but just go to the store and buy all the girly anti-friz and straightening products and see what works with your hair the best.

    i tried growing my hair once...got it down to my chin, but i have like naturally thick hair so i just looked like a fluffy mushroom most of the time....so....go to the hairdressers, let he proffesionals at it....rockstars can have clean pretty hair too :) lol

    oh not true. Some men can pull it off, although must admit, a lot cant. It depends on the face.

    buy a hat. or put it in a ponytail. a low one though, not a high one, or you'll look like a transvestite.

    Only Axel Rose pulled off looking fit with long hair. <--- very biased towards men with hair longer than mine :D

    Make sure you condition it well and follow the same rules as females i would imagine e.g.frizz ease and proper hair drying :)

    guys with long hair :heart:

    have regular trims and keep it neat and sleak.

    and buy lots of beanies if you use something that messes you hair up.

    I had two girlfriends who both tourchered me when i had short hair ive had two girlfriends in the 1 year ive had long hair and loads of other girls are throwing themselves at me, so just because you dont like it doesnt mean it isnt pleasant looking and generally people who dont find it pleasant looking (i am generalising mind) put up no intellectually stimulating conversation at all.l

    So in 7 words Fuck you, i love my long hair

    No offence meant if you could hear my tone of voice you would understand :P

    I don't like it. I've known my dude for over a year, he used to have really long hair and a beard and I barely noticed him. The minute I saw him clean-shaven and with short spiky hair I fell for him. Long hair is just offputting!

    I would assume that each female likes the male of her personal preference. I doubt many people are going to lie and say somebody is sexy because they are told to...

    and whoever david beckham is... i'm sure he didn't look good with long hair either :p

    I have to admit i do have a lil thing for long hair. I love being able to run my fingers though it and fiddle with it. ooh and it also help if you like a lil bit of hair pulling:p :yum:

    I dont mean like " like this guy ...now dammit!" I mean just nazi-esque propaganda we live with everyday generally the media will say this type of behaviour is cool and we all go "no its not" whereas sub-consciously taking it all in and "deciding for ourselves" that it is in fact quite cool.

    Long hair suits some men, others just shouldn't even go there...

    Brandon Boyd (of Incubus) is definitely one of those guys who can pull it off!

    I like men with long hair. I would suggest just washing it regulary so it stays looking clean.... cos there's this boy at school with shoulder length hair who never washes it and he goes round smelling like a chip-fryer. So yeah...

    Ok, I do admit I don't usually go for guys with long hair but some guys can really pull it off which makes them look soo yummy.

    I especially loved Orlando Bloom in Lord Of The Rings as Legolas with the long blonde hair - infact I think he suits that hair style best :D

    That's just me though...
