Dont read this if you get put off easily.

went to bed on sunday night and woke up at 2am to throw up, which was nice  got up every half hour after that to be violently sick, which was even nicer, and didnt stop throwing up until 3.45pm the following afternoon. Got up at 5.30pm that night and had a couple of cups of tea and half a slice of toast, and was back in bed at 9pm. Got up again at 11pm to be sick once more, but i havent been sick since then, just felt queazy. been up and about today trying to get some fresh air, have had some sprite and some more toast, but im still not feeling fantastic. Its a bug i've had, the other half had it last week, and all his family have had it, i know it wasnt anything ive eaten.

just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on how to feel better, faster. i've got a lot to do in the next couple of days and right now i can still hardly move cuz i ache all over. anything will do; best drinks to have, foods to eat, whether its better to get on and do things or just sit down and rest for a while. thanks for your ideas

I would say stay away from fizzy drinks or any food that is to rich for you. Altough Coke is sposed to be good to settle your stomach.

but it's supposed to be warm, flat coke...

best things to eat are dry toast, bananas, boiled rice, boiled potatoes and really bland, plain things.

Peppermint tea is very good for settling the stomach.

Green Tea or Enchiniea (sp?) tea are good for getting rid of colds/illness.
