What do they do? Do you have to have a pelvic exam or anything like that?

    If you tell them the sypmtoms, I doc could just take your word for it and give you the cream/ tablets or whatever they give you now.

    Least thats what my doc did - Unless you ask them to check to be definite.

    when i went with suspected thrush and they gave me swabs - aparently the same procedure as a smear but they use coton bud type things to take the sample

    you'll have to tell your partner too (If you have one) because if they don't treat it to they could keep passing it back to you.
