Hurts to pee?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
For the last couple of days, whenever I go to the loo, it's hurt reaaaaally badly..but only when I'm nearly done, so I wasn't sure what the problem could be. It feels kinda like a really bad period pain, and it seems to be in the same sort of region that I get period pains in as well.

Anyone got any clues? I don't particularly want to go to the doc's..I embarrass far too easily..

Unfortunately in this case, you will have no choice but to go to the Docs.

Sounds as if you got some kinda infection, maybe a urine infection. Either way, you'll need to get antibiotics for it before it gets any serious.

Doc's see this case all the time. You aint on your own.
Maybe if you try and get a female doctor to make things feel abit more comfortable for you.

    Good Luck!

Could be cystitis, have you been having a lot of sex?

    Go to the doctors.

Depends where you have sex, you might not be able to go the toilet straight after.

I went to the docs this mornign...after having my boyfriend practically dragging me there.

Turns out I do have a urinary infection but it's not cystitis - she didn't actually know what it was and is thus treating me blind. I'm on a three day course of Trimethoprim and I should be all better by the end of it.

But eh...what's all this about peeing after sex? Was I supposed to know about this?

I was on that, but it was a 7 day course. After three days I had to stop due to nasty thrush ;(

I think CRamberry Juice is supposed to be good for such infections as it has an ingredient in it that helps clear that part of the body.

Ahh ok, thanks a lot. I must've missed that bit of sex ed or something.
