    I think you should do both. kinda.

    When you first get together with someone you should be with them because you love them. but say you've been married for 60 years, it might be more a case of loving them because you're with them.

    although my grandparents have been married since 1946, and my grandma says she still loves my grandad the same as she did when she was 18.

    so i don't know, actually.

    I think it depends on the relationship, some people can love each other in the same way for years, other relationships change for the better or worse.

    My uncles mam and dad were like that. They were the nicest couple you'd ever meet, and they died within a week of each other too :heart:
