    How do I add them to Word? I downloaded and extracted them.

    You don't add them to word. You put them in your fonts directory and they will appear in word automatically.

    Are you taking the piss?

    You go to fonts in control panel and put the font in there.

    Or right click on the font file and choose "install font".
