On thursday this week i was sent on an off-road driving course. During work hours, paid for by AWG. Sure, the M77 is a mindless drudge, but it has its perks!
Anyway, it was a lot of fun spending much of the day driving a Land Rover 110 TD5 round an off-road course which involved some seriously scary hills and side-slopes. It was also very educational, teaching me stuff I didn't already know about what the mechanical bits under the floor get up to when you move the little gearstick.
And the best part is, I'm going to get a stage 1 certificate from BORDA, the British Off Road Driving Association. So i'm an officially certified off road driver.
