@eylah oh no! Nothing worse than watery noodles. It’ll be different for all packet noodles but for the super noodles I do 1 cup of boiling water per pack of noodles and do them for 3 minutes, then stir, 2 minutes then stir, then 1 last minute and it seems to work for me.
@Nathan how does that even happen!!! Tbf it probably would have happened if I hadn’t realised after the first 3 minute stretch that they didn’t have any water in. I could feel in my brain that something was wrong with them but i couldn’t figure out what it was. Don’t cook noodles while sleep deprived and having a mental breakdown was the lesson I learnt 🤣

@Nathan omg how!!! To be fair me and mum were once heating up a pot of curry on the hob recently, the pot is cast iron so things get stuck if we’re not careful. We were watching the traitors, left the pot on the hob. It’s safe to say it got stuck and the curry developed a somewhat smoky flavour. Spent 3 hours cooking it as well it just needed heating up and we ruined it! Everyone has a unique kitchen disaster story

@Nathan I’ve had my fair share of eggs cracking in the pot while they’re boiling, but I’ve never quite got as far as blowing one up lol, how does that even happen

@independent_ it's a form of weapons grade stupidity, something i am very much an expert in.
I put some boiled eggs on, forgot about them, the water evapourated, they got heated up, pressure built up inside the now burnt eggs, and then kaboooom. I heard the noise, raced down, and the entire kitchen reeked and was filled with smoke 😂

@Nathan omg!! I’m always scared I’m gonna forget about stuff on the hob. If I don’t set a timer on my hob it switches off after an hour, but I think eggs would be long blown up by then!
I might have something with eggs tomorrow, i fancy eggs now.
@independent_ I've had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs, dippy eggs, egg mayo sandwich, egg mcmuffins, and of course, blown up eggs. It's really amazing what you can do with them 😂

So, what do people think of my new improved HMS Prince of Wales. I've added the fire control directors on the very top of the superstructure. The previous version didn't have them on.
