What Support Do You Want To See On Saturdays?

Hey everyone!

For the last year or so we've been running Topic Threads every Saturday afternoon, with a Watch Party instead on the last Saturday of every month.

These Topic Threads have centered around a range of themes, such as anxiety, grief, loneliness, or money, offering some focused time to explore a specific issue all together on Discussion Boards and receive live replies.

Going forwards, however, we want to check in - how are these Topic Threads feeling? Are they useful for you, or might there be a different kind of support you'd like us to run on Saturdays?

'Why can't we have Support Chats on Saturdays?' - Right now, we're unfortunately limited to only 1 staff member online on Saturdays, which is why we cannot safely run Support Chats for you on this day (and so instead, have offered Topic Threads).

There is the possibility, however, of us running a General Chat on Saturdays instead of Topic Thread if more people would be interested, or a Support Thread instead.

Separately too, I'd love to hear your thoughts around Watch Parties - we've noticed that attendance seems to be dropping, and we're keen to ensure we're offering support that you really want to see.

How do you feel about the monthly Watch Parties on the last Sat of every month? Do you like it, or would you prefer to see a Topic Thread / General Chat / Support Chat every Saturday instead?

We're open to whatever feels best for the majority!

This Saturday (6th December 2025) we'll be doing a Topic Thread 3:30 - 5pm all around self-care in the Winter months.

I feel like a reminder for watch parties because I forget they are on

Another idea is re enter films that wasn't voted for previously as people obviously was interested in them so maybe they will be more popular depending on other films

i think a support thread would be more beneficial and helpful for many ppl here on the mix. also having reminders before and on the day of the film day bc then ppl might be able to join more. bc i would love to join but i forget 🥲

Looking at results, it appears that the most popular vote so far is for Support Threads (5 votes) to take place every Saturday (with a Watch Party the last day of the month) instead. This is really helpful to know. We'll keep with a Topic Thread today at 3:30pm, however, moving forwards we can look at shifting to a Support Thread instead in line with this feedback.

Hi everyone, just to let you know that the Poll results are in, and we're going to stop Topic Threads on Saturdays going forwards and run Support Threads from 3:30 - 5pm each Saturday instead. Hopefully this means you'll be able to receive more of the kind of support you're looking for.
