Hey Everyone!

Our friends over KIDS have shared their new schedule of Friday afternoon online wellbeing groups for neurodivergent and/or disabled people aged 13-25 .

The groups are free to attend, hosted on zoom and open to young neurodivergent and/or disabled people aged 13 - 25 anywhere in the UK. They are also open to young people awaiting diagnosis. They are especially eager to connect with young people who are not in work and young people who are not able to or find it difficult to access in-person services.

Here is a list of some of their up-coming Friday well-being sessions:

Comfort crew: Sensory support and sharing. Friday 18 October, 1-2pm

Join our "Comfort Crew: Sensory Support and Sharing" group. This online group offers a warm and welcoming space where you can share your experiences and think about your sensory support needs. It’s all about finding comfort and connection, with activities, games and discussions that focus on your sensory preferences and how they affect you. Bring any sensory support to share with the group, whether it's a favorite fidget, sensory tool or toy you enjoy. We especially welcome plushies and teddies to join the "online picnic".

Wellbeing drop-in: Halloween themed. Friday 25 October 1pm.

Our usual wellbeing drop-in group but with a Halloween twist.

Come along to chat and connect with other young neurodivergent and/or disabled people. Share your favorite Halloween traditions and plans. Test your knowledge in a Halloween quiz, and enjoy some eerie games. As always, this is also a welcoming space where you can talk about your well-being and bring up anything on your mind.
