Heyya I’m Katie one of the chat moderators. This is actually my first time posting on the boards! It wouldn't let me post on the community announcements for some reason so I've settled for in here. I’ve been moderating the support and general group chats for nearly three years now. My only regret is that I didn’t start it sooner 
You all have been so brave in coming to these chats and sharing whatever is on your mind, as well as allowing me to be a part of your journey. From the ridiculous jokes in general chat that genuinely had me giggling, to watching the support you gave your peers. You all have impacted my life and hold a special place in my heart.
So, I am very excited to share that I will be continuing my journey with The Mix and joining the staff team over on another one of their support services. Unfortunately, my new hours overlap with the times of the group chats so I’ll no longer be able to moderate these chats
I’m not making any promises but there may be the occasional Sunday shift I’ll pop into, but for now this is goodbye. Who knows I might see you around!

All of the moderators on The Mix are amazing but there are a few mods who just always go the extra mile to get involved and to get to know us on a more personal level and it always made chat feels so much more safe and welcoming. I’m not a lover of support chat and getting support in that space so general chat is always my go to and I think a moderator can really make or break the vibes of the room. You always managed to get everyone connecting together and sure, always had good craic whenever you were modding. So big thanks for that, you definitely had a big, positive impact on my mood on multiple occasions.
Cheers for putting up with the bullying from myself and @BensonE . You’re a great laugh and a great person. We’ve been very lucky to have ya as a mod.
Best of luck with everything in the new job. I know you’ll be grand anyways and do get well soon, I’ve heard the spench is awful😷🙏🏻

I wish you all the best in your new role, it's always exciting to make that progression (I say while sitting on my bum in my garden making zero progress myself lol). I hope all goes well for you.

I've not been on chats for ages but I remember you, I enjoyed having you there and I will miss you when I do come back but it's good you might still come on sometimes. Also congratulations with your new job here at the Mix and good luck with it

Just wanted to send a little message to say thank you for being your fabulous self. You always make me feel welcome and like I’m an important part of chat. You make me laugh, you’ve supported me and you’ve cheered me on for my achievements. I’m so grateful to have gotten to know you on chats and I’ll miss you lots. I’m really proud of you for your new role though and I know you’ll be amazing!
