Hey everyone,

We want to let you know that over the next couple of months, we may need to close more of our evening support group sessions than usual. Some of our amazing volunteers who help us in running these sessions are students at uni and currently preparing for their exams and will need to take a bit of time off :)

We know how important our support group sessions are and we'll always do our best to run as many sessions as possible. Thank you for your continued support, and we are very much looking forward to resuming our normal schedule soon.

In the meantime, if you are looking for support and one of our sessions is cancelled, these services are always available to you:

The Mix's services
*Discussion boards- always open and a great place to reach out for support from others about anything you're going through.
*The Mix's webchat and email service - Open Mondays-Fridays 4-11pm.

Urgent support options
* If you need urgent help or have any concerns for your health or safety, the quickest way to get help is to call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.
* Our Crisis Messenger text service provides free, 24/7 crisis support across the UK. If you’re aged 25 or under and are experiencing any painful emotion or are in crisis, you can text THEMIX to 85258.
* Papyrus - If you are having thoughts of suicide, you can contact HOPELINEUK for confidential support and practical advice. You can call them on 0800 068 4141 or text them on 07786209697.
*Samaritans are reachable by phone and email 24/7. Whatever you're going through, you can call them any time, from any phone on 116 123. They also have a webchat service available during the day and evening.
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
