What's in your Christmas Dinner

In the festive spirit now Christmas is just around the corner - I thought we could discuss Christmas dinner.

For example:
What's the best part of a Christmas Dinner?
What is definitely not going on your plate?

For me, I love roast potatoes at Christmas but I definitely won't be having any Brussels sprouts

I'll be cooking Christmas dinner for my family this year, and as I'm vegan, I'm making them all eat a vegan dinner. So no meat on our plates!

My favourite part are the roast potatoes too, I make them super crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside :yum:

I'll also be cooking brussel sprouts but with lots of vegan bacon and garlic to make them nice and tasty!

Oo for me I think we'll be having turkey again. Definitely having roast potatoes, parsnips, stuffing (stuffing is the best!), pigs in blankets and carrots. I'm not much of a sprouts fan so probably not them. Oo lots of gravy, I love my gravy.

It's become tradition for myself and my uncle to have exactly one brussel sprout every Christmas. This started out because we both didn't like them but felt obliged. Even now that I've grown fond of them, I still only have one to keep the tradition going. :p

I love stuffing although I will be staying well clear of Brussel Sprouts. My mum likes them though.

My favourite part of Christmas dinner is the gravy haha! It makes it for me. When I was younger, I used to drink cups of it =)

@Emma_ - a vegan Christmas dinner sounds very interesting - I'll have to try it one year

@cocobean & @Amy22 - gotta agree on the gravy - it's not a complete Christmas dinner without it in my house.

@JonAddo - I may have to try this method to see of I can get myself to like them

@Dancer - for me I feel a bit indifferent towards stuffing but my sister absolutely loves it so there will definitely be some made on Sunday in my house :3

Sending hugs to you all and have a great Christmas
