The Mix's services over Christmas and New Year

Hey everyone,

Here is a breakdown of the services The Mix is running over Christmas and New Year :star:

Crisis Messenger
Open as usual 24/7. You can text THEMIX to 85258.

Discussion Boards
There will be mods and staff from The Mix checking in on the boards every day of the winter break.

Group Chat
We’ll be running chat pretty much as normal this year. One day that will be different is Christmas day (the 25th of Dec), where there’ll only be a general chat (instead of general chat and support chat). Another day that will be different is the 26th Dec, as chat will be cancelled this date.

We'll be having a group chat break from Monday 3rd January - Sunday 16th January (two weeks).

Helpline and Webchat
The helpline and 1-1 webchat will also be running as normal 4pm-12am every day. You can call us for free on 0808 808 4994. You can also head over to our website if you'd like to use the 1-1 webchat service.

Phone Counselling and Web Counselling
If you’re having counselling with us, your counsellor will let you know what to expect for your sessions over the next few weeks.

    Wait why is chat cancelled for tomorrow? Is it because of a lack of mods available? Or was it planned?

    It would seem it was planned. It says "Another day that will be different is the 26th Dec, as chat will be cancelled this date."

    This is probably because today is 'boxing day'. However, we are here for you until the next chat runs as usual <3

    Something to do with opening boxed Christmas gifts I'm told.

    Some people shop for discounted items!

    For me, it is recovering from the amount of food I have eaten the day before and resting =)

    @Dancer Boxing day was when all the servants were giving the day off and the poor traditionally were presented with gifts in boxes. Hope you had a good Christmas.
