Work

I left my work as the manager was a bully and was always nasty with me to the point on the last day he made me cry and that was just a 4 hours shift. I started 29th November 2025 and left a couple of weeks ago.

Injury/ medical

So some will be aware that I had to stop aerial hoop due to my back which i did and the doctor found out I have arthritis in my back and fluid in the back of my knees. I went back this week and it was a big mistake because I’m in agony now and pain medication isn’t helping me one bit

Insomnia

My insomnia is bad again and it’s made sleeping so bad and I lay awake 11:30pm to 2/3 am so it has left me absolutely exhausted and I’m waking up to constant headaches so today I contacted my GP about it and it was absolutely useless tbh, I’ve been told to take my anxiety meds at night which how is that gonna help other than it’s gonna make me feel on clouds. So every night I have to take propanol which I can’t function on 💀

Hey @River, it sounds like you have been dealing with a lot recently, from bullying at work, intense pain from going back to aerial hoop and struggling with insomnia. You're strong for sharing all of this with us, as that can't be easy to manage all at the same time.

I'm curious, did you speak to the GP about the pain you're experiencing when you saw them the other day? It's frustrating that it felt useless regarding your insomnia, have you started taking your anxiety medication at night now then?
