Another panic attack at work
I will be talking with my family about scheduling a day where I can purchase a bike (as an excuse to sneak off to the gp without them knowing)
But I was randomly left during the busiest hour and had to do front orders, drive thru orders, Ubers, and fry food by myself. As I started to panic, I started breathing heavily and felt my heart getting tighter and tighter
Eventually, I did get people to help me, which was great. But it’s so embarrassing and I did apologise

That sounds so hectic and stressful! Handling all of that on your own must have been overwhelming so it makes sense your body reacted that way.
I'm glad to hear that people did come to help eventually! Staffing issues are so common in jobs like that and it is pretty unfair how much stress that can put on workers.
I know panicking can come with a lot of shame especially when you are expected to just get on with it. But considering the level of stress you were under, your reaction was completely understandable.
Did you manage to do anything nice for yourself to unwind after your shift?
How are you doing today?
I’m doing better, which is good. I’m midly dreading work, but whatever happens, happens.
