I’m becoming stupider everyday

I’m unsure whether it’s due to me being overly stressed and depressed for so long, but I’ve realised I’m becoming stupider everyday.

My brain feels so foggy and I don’t feel like I’m fully present in the real world. I’m always in my own head.

I always get everything wrong, I always forget everything, I always make incorrect statements where people would think I’m an idiot. My vocabulary is becoming more grammatically incorrect to the point where I speak like a five year old.

@bignosegirly0 this thread and probably most if not all your threads are all correct in terms if grammar and spelling etc.

@Redemption thank you :) I should have been more specific, sorry. I was referring to conversations where I occasionally use incorrect terms or say the exact opposite of what I intended to say (breakfast - dinner, cat - dog, etc). When I’m writing my sentences, I have a lot more time to correct myself. Whereas, when I’m speaking to someone, I just happen to say the wrong thing most of the time.

Edit: I forgot to mention my dad who often critiques my writing for being too basic, which is valuable if I’m writing something important such as a response to a job interview. It’s just that he criticises my writing a lot, even when I try to improve.

@bignosegirly0 I think I know what you mean and I think its quite common to make mistakes. Maybe your mind just had a lot on it so you don't think straight. You're way too harsh on yourself, you aren't broken, I know its easier said than done but try to be kind to yourself please. You're strong, amazing a brave for talking on here.

@bignosegirly0 this might be a bit different but similar in terms of "silly mistakes" I nearly drank some Vimto without diluting it this morning, put it in a cup and drank it so I understand all what you mean. Its common to do or say these "silly things" especially when we have a lot on our minds I have seen your threads, it seems everything is so rough for you right now, Im really sorry for that, Ill reply to your latest thread in a min whilst typing this but when our we are low we might do or say these silly things. Please keep strong for us even though it may feel extremely hard, we are all here for you no matter what.
