Yes, I worked with an NHS employment service , on their neurodiversity pathway programme. The triage person was not very pleasing and she actually said I wouldn't be entitled to support but then she checked after I insisted ans said she got it wrong, ill be entitled to 4 months support- this lasted double and my worker was really nice. Like it took me s while to warm to her she did used to look foe jobs ans send them to me but I found my own 0hr contract jobs but shes been quite supportive in helping me prepare for interview, cover letter and been there to chat to after a hard day at work and supporting me to try and think of and encourage me to ask them for reasonable adjustments. She'd offered meetings etc but I felt like it may be a too much of big deal when I'm only 0hr contract. Its ended with a bit of a shock but ger managers were on the case as I had like double the 4months support.
I received employment support from another service- through the company where I'm getting cbt from and he gave up on me and was putting pressure on me. He just suddenly stopped making contact. Again thus was free
I would definitely give it a try!! No please don't just quit like that..
