What’s so special?
She rides the vehicle everyday
To and from her destination
A big rectangle on wheels
Silence fulfilling her void
Deep in thoughts whilst the music takes
Transported to a magical world
Zoned out but yet so content
The engine roaring like a lion
The bars rattling with every move
Bold wheels guiding our way
But it’s just an ordinary place
An ordinary place but holds such wonders
It’s just a bus though what’s so special??
Maybe it’s the feelings that approach
Safety to just switch off and be free
She can clear her mind this way
But how can an ordinary place do that?
The drive, the motion that causes comfort
Maybe it’s the tiredness or being able to let loose
Not constantly on guard
Not needing to be a place of fright
Somehow safe
Somehow comforting
Though it’s just an ordinary place right
Wrong…
It’s my comfort place, my magical place
To be lost and free all at once
