    Hey @ellie2000 - would you be able to explain a little more about why you were asked for photos? Just so I can better understand the context. In terms of authorities and data, I believe they retain it for some time (e.g. health records), but I'm not 100% sure.

    Data protection effectively looks at how your personal information can be used, and your rights over data. In 2018, the Data Protection Act was released - a major change in data protection law, if you want to look into it.
