Hey everyone,

It's been a couple of weeks since we last did a weekly challenge but we're back with a challenge this week :) 

This week we're doing a self-care method challenge. Self-care is so important and something we should make time for everyday. Your challenge is to take time for yourself everyday this week. Comment below what you've done each day to look after yourself :) 

Remember to be kind to yourself!

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    This doesn't really sound like self care but hear me out... I got myself a ready meal tonight. I cook most nights and just needed a break from doing it this evening so thought I'd look after myself in this way so I'd have more time to chill tonight!

    Today I took all my meds on time, basic bit of self care but important, for various reasons I often skip some of them.

    also going to do some of my creative work book tonight (how to be happy (or at least less sad)) :)

    my self care today is I forgave someone who hurt me, not so much so we could be friends again, but so I could accept what happened and move on :)

    spending the evening doing some of my wreck this journal :)

    Today I spoke up about what was wrong instead of "nothing." I even got a hug from a year 11 because I was so close to crying and using Crisis Messenger earlier.

    My self care is collecting my meds. Havent taken it yet cause i am scared of feeling sick lol. Hopefully tomorrow i will be able to say i managed to take them

    Self care this morning-
    woke up so early and instead of staying in bed ive put my washing in and im using my teeth whitening stripes - my teeth are already quite white tbf but like to keep them as  white as can 🙃

    Not working today so woke up and got dressed anyway 😁 (normally if I have nothing planned I stay in my Jammie's) also might be going to the gym later 👌 I used to love going and finally got the go ahead from my Dr to get back into it .. if not then my friend posted up a positive affirmations & narwhals colouring book so will be doing that 😊

    (not sure these count as self care, but...)

    Monday- I had an early night after work, 
    Tuesday- I had a really productive physio session
    Wednesday- I didn't sleep well last night but was still at the gym for 8am.

    Yesterday I decided to not go to placment as I needed the day to recover after the past few days and I slept and walked my dog in the sun ❤️
