Happy quotes bracelet

LabraBellLabraBell Posts: 203 Trailblazer
After getting out of hospital on tuesday, I had an idea thanks to the patient wristband that I had.

I'd managed to wear the bracelet down so that I could snap the clasp open and closed, and get it on and off my wrist at will. I was intending to keep it as a memory. A reminder of what happened last time I was struggling.

One time when I put it on, I put it on backwards, so the writing was face down. The concept gave me a decent idea for a bracelet, which I'm going to work on now.

What I'm going to do, is make myself a bracelet that looks pretty normal to the naked eye. It's going to be a simple design, and it would look similar to a hospital one, but not so clinical. But on the underside of it, I'm going to have some messages from people I know and who mean a lot to me, that I can read when I'm feeling down. I'll share some pictures when it's done.

I just thought I'd share the idea, because I know there are some people who might benefit from it. I also wanted to ask if any of you would like to leave a message for me to write on there too :3
What do you mean I have to think of an intelligent signature?

“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley
